Churches, clubs, and groups

For over 44 years, thousands of dedicated individuals and groups have been the heart of our mission. Here are some fun ways your church, club, or group can make a difference...one child, one family, one community at a time.

Keeping Mothers and Children Healthy

  • This Mother's Day, help save the lives of women and their babies during childbirth by coordinating a white ribbon campaign promoting the importance of pre- and post-natal care.

Preventing Disease

  • In recognition of World AIDS Day on December 1st, you can organize and AIDS Walk/Run to raise awareness and pledges in support of Project Concern's efforts to combat this global pandemic.

Providing Access to Clean Water

  • For Earth Day in April, organize a cleanup fundraiser and solicit pledges that are attached to specific goal, such as miles of beach or neighborhood cleaned.

Addressing Hunger & Malnutrition

  • Organize a "Hunger Banquet" in recognition of World Hunger Day in October. Participants raise pledges and then attend a dinner in which they are divided into groups representing various global demographics. This experience promotes an in-depth, firsthand understanding of hunger and its affects on impoverished communities.
  • In developing communities around the world, poverty and malnutrition are often barriers that prevent children from attending school. You can bring awareness to this problem by organizing a "No Socks Day."
